I’ve never heard “yard sale” like that, I like it. I would have maybe said Tag Sale, but then Tag Heuer would have sued me for defamation or something.

Northeast bro?

Nope, Southeast...I first heard the term “Tag Sale” about a year or two ago. Apparently they’re all different, but people use them interchangeably. We usually do garage sales (in the yard) or yard sales (in the garage, naturally).

Oh shit, nice.

Funny looking TT.
Talking of sending cars out - an Audi TT circuit vehicle has gone out to inspect that track, and the driver nearly loses it down the esses! A spectacular slide follows, what a save. Masterful driving (or incredible luck).

And I wouldn’t know what you’re talking about if you said that. “Yard sale” is a favorite track saying of mine, I picked it up years ago. Definitely apt when a car suffers an unintentional disassembly.

Me either, I just learned it's a mostly Northeastern thing. How about "Almost Craigslisted it"? Give it a few years, it'll catch on.

Saw that, you’d think they’d know the difference. This TT has the bro sideblades painted on, I’m sure.

Well, if “nice” means “HOLY SHIT” then yeah.

I could see that catching on, I’ll have to remember that.

I thought it was a skiing thing (which could definitely put it in the NE, though I’ve definitely heard it out west).

See we always said “Sudden wall greeting” to refer to accidents and used gardening terms for leaving the track like landscaping (4 off), lawnmowing (dragging something or having a low splitter when going 4 off), and yard edging (2 off).

yeah kinda

Apparently it's just an upscale yard sale where things are "tagged" like they might be in a retail or consignment store. TIL....

oppositelock as fuck

I like all of them. I’ve heard the term “sightseeing” for 4 off as well.

Yard sale is a skiing thing too, if someone falls down and leaves a trail of poles/skis/gloves etc :)

I like to call it the “dirt line” when you just drop two off, too.

Dat quattro tho.

Seriously though, it means an ostensibly very stable car almost distributed itself about the countryside.

I figured as much, just giving you a hard time.
